Mr. Greenwell joined Axonic in 2020 as a Managing Director on the Business Development team, focusing on clients on the West Coast. He began his career on Wall Street in 1989 on the Institutional Block Trading Desk at Shearson Lehman Hutton in New York City. For over 30 years Mr. Greenwell has traded nearly all components of the capital structure (bank debt, corporate debt, and equities), most notably at Shearson Lehman Hutton, Smith Barney, Imperial Capital and most recently Cantor Fitzgerald. At Cantor Fitzgerald, he was the Director of Sales for Cantor’s Market Strategy and Equity Derivative effort, working directly with the firm’s Global Chief Market Strategist. Mr. Greenwell attended the University of Missouri from 1987 – 1989, transferred to New York University in 1990 and accepted a job with Smith Barney before graduation.
