He previously worked as an Associate at Federman Steifman LLP, representing small to mid-size investment firms in complex and sophisticated real estate, structured financing and corporate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, lending, leasing and corporate governance. Mr. Nygaard was an Associate at Red Pine Capital Partners LLC, evaluating investment opportunities and managing existing investments for a boutique equity and real estate investment firm focused on middle-market, consumer-related businesses and real estate projects. He was additionally an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He received a JD at Fordham University and a BA of History at Columbia University.
