Prior to joining Axonic Capital, Mr. Saypoff was Senior Counsel at Wells Fargo from November 2010 through March 2013 where he worked on fixed income derivatives transactions and regulatory matters. From August 2008 through November 2010, Mr. Saypoff was General Counsel for NewOak Capital, a broker dealer and investment advisory firm. From October 1994 through August 2008, Mr. Saypoff was employed by Barclays Capital where he held a variety of positions, including Managing Director in its Global Credit Derivatives and Agency CDO Group. Mr. Saypoff was employed by Hughes Hubbard & Reed from July 1992 through October 1994 and by Cravath, Swaine & Moore from October 1985 through July 1992. Mr. Saypoff received a J.D. (1986), M.B.A. (1983) and B.S. (1981) from New York University. He is admitted to practice law in New York.
